Child Care Subsidy Victoria

At Nexus Early Learning, we are registered for the Australian Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which helps families manage the cost of child care, making it more affordable and accessible. Our goal is to provide every child with access to high-quality early learning and care.

What is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?

The CCS is a financial support program where the government pays a portion of your childcare fees directly to the provider. This reduces the amount you need to pay out-of-pocket, known as the 'gap' fee. You pay only the difference between the total childcare fee and the subsidy amount.

Eligibility for CCS

To be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy, you must:

  • Use an approved childcare service like Nexus Early Learning.

  • Meet residency and immunisation requirements.

  • Care for your child at least 2 nights per fortnight (14% care) and liable for fees for care provided at an approved childcare service

How Much CCS Can I Receive?

The amount of CCS you are eligible for depends on:

  • Your family income.

  • The number of hours of childcare you need.

  • The type of childcare service you use.

The subsidy will be paid directly to Nexus Early Learning, lowering your overall childcare costs.
